Thursday night at GAMH we’ve got a PACKED bill of local talent featuring a co-headline with psych-rockers The Love Dimension and OS Beaches (featuring Trevor Jarrod of Tea Leaf Green), support from The Jaunting Martyrs and DJ sets by The Duke of Windsor and Darragh Skelton (Electric Stew). The Jaunting Martyrs have been feverishly tearing up Bay Area venues for over a year now, and show no signs of stopping. Their music kicks, caresses, screams, and bleeds. The sound combines funk, blues, folk, surf, punk and an undying, eternal, authentic connection to the world of the circus. It has been described as “both a quiet, classical bedtime story and traveling, rambling, carnival party” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian and “natural storytellers weaving magical prose around epic ballads” according to Sara Grimes of the blog Untapped Cities.
