A beautiful and historic venue right in the heart of San Francisco, the Great American Music Hall is the perfect place for a unique and memorable special event. San Francisco's oldest and grandest nightclub harks back to the Golden Age - its ornate balconies, columns and ceiling frescoes afford an elegant atmosphere for corporate events, banquets, weddings, holiday parties, break-out sessions or private parties. GAMH provides professional-caliber sound and lighting system, two full bars, modern kitchen and spacious oak dance floor. GAMH offers expert in-house bar, catering, and production services.
Great American Music Hall comes equipped with a dance floor, wrap around balcony, stage, special event lighting and a professional sound system (including microphones), as well as numerous cocktail tables and chairs at your disposal. When you rent GAMH for a special event, you don’t just get the space - rentals include with a start to finish event-coordination and production services, one sound and one lighting technician, bar staff, cocktail waiters, ushers/security, a doorman, a coat check attendant and janitorial services. Rental rates are based on your event lasting five hours (with an additional three hours available prior to the start-time of your event for set-up and one hour for event break down). Additional hours can be arranged directly with the Event Manager for a fee. Private event rentals include bar staffing and the use of both of the large bars. GAMH offers many bar package options for your private event from a Deluxe Open Bar to a No-Host Cash Bar.

Setting the Scene for Your Event
Whether you're throwing a sit down banquet, a gala, a wedding, or a rocking holiday party, we’ll work with you to set the scene for your event. GAMH already comes equipped with special event lighting and numerous tables and chairs at your disposal. The Private Event Manager will work with you to create a floor plan for your event and will coordinate with you to bring in additional rental furniture, linens, and special equipment to create a unique look for your event.
