Over the past few years, velvet-throated vocalist Daniel Lannon and hyper-prolific producer Kevin Durr, Israel Chavarin, Andrew Gomez and Frank Lipari have propelled the group from a Craigslist collaboration to a stage-shattering electro-pop act worthy of international acclaim.

Pushing the pop and electronic boundaries to something bigger, their music is a hybrid of indie, pop, synth, Top 40, and electro. Defying traditional genre classification, the group’s electro-tinged cuts toe the line between a falsetto homage to Michael Jackson and the hyper-literate electro experimentation of DFA acts like LCD Soundsystem.

The Frail have performed at festivals such as SXSW, Treasure Island, Noise Pop, California Music Festival, Bay Area Indie Fest, & Las Vegas Music Festival. Music by The Frail has been licensed for television series such as The Kardashians, Bad Girls Club, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, 90210, and Road Rules. Their music has also been licensed for advertising campaigns by Nike, Patagonia, and Quicksilver. The band is sponsored by Ableton, Sol Republic, Loaded Clothing, Social Rebel Clothing, and One Condoms. The Frail have received press by Urb Magazine, The Gap Fashion Sessions w/ the Mog Music Network, SF Chronicle, NY Times Style for SXSW and Mixx TV.

The Frail was recently invited by Converse to finish recording their album, "LoveDeathLegend," at the Rubber Tracks Studio in Brooklyn, which will be released later this year. Additionally, Cooking Vinyl signed The Frail for a publishing deal in March 2013.
