Describing Daniel Castro as a blues artist doesn’t begin to tell the whole story. A highly accomplished guitarist and singer/songwriter with a strong musical point of view grounded in the very best blues traditions is more like it. Combine those talents with original blues-based material and you begin to understand Daniel’s strengths as an artist. Well-known for being a dynamic performer who "leaves it all on the stage" night after night, Daniel brings crowds to their feet with his blistering solos, soulful singing, and tight arrangements. Daniel has always played with seasoned musicians, but with his newest incarnation, featuring Johnny Yu on bass and vocals and David Perper on drums and vocals, The Daniel Castro Band raises the bar and is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Chris Cobb is a Northern California blues guitarist who has been playing smoking blues guitar for 30 years in and around the Bay area.

After playing in some of the Bay Area’s best bands, such as Sis’tah Monica and Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88’s, Chris is now joined by his son Jesse and an array of top-flight musicians to make up the Chris Cobb Band.

Bedrock Radio is a new group from the San Francisco Bay Area that showcases its own original blend of swampy blues rock n roll and features Josh Monfredini and Brad Bryant on guitars, Michael Perez on drums and Dan Stanton on bass. These guys have done their homework and paid some serious dues – Brad has been studying at the University of Ron Thompson, while Josh and Mike have been performing in a variety of bands in the Bay Area music scene for years, in fact Mike actually made a decent living out of music back in the 20th century with the Violet Fox Band! Dan comes steeped in the blues from Florida, and has been schooled in all things bass by Steve Bailey and Gary Willis. Together this band brings a wide variety of influences together in a certifiably funky way. Tune in, turn on and turn up Bedrock Radio!
